It is necessary to obtain permits for some specific home remodeling work from The Building & Safety Department of The City Council. The permits will be vital to obtain, if you are planning to undertaken structural modifications to your home. Here are the details in brief.
Here is the process to follow for obtaining a permit for your remodeling job.
Application – There will be a need to apply for permits to the concerned department of The City Council. You need to present a full proof plan and it could be either offline or online. The online submissions must be in the PDF mode.
The Plan Review – The City Inspectors will now review the plan and check whether it is according to the Palo Alto Building Codes.
